Acceptance of Terms

By using Together School ("we", "us", "our", "the Service"), including our WhatsApp coordination bot, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Legal Entity: Together School is provided by William Roberts Coaching and Advisory Ltd, a company incorporated in England, company number 15629688.

Service Description

Together School provides a WhatsApp-based coordination service for school-related logistics, including:

• Daily digests of important school information (events, deadlines, payments)
• Emergency pickup coordination
• Walking bus and carpool organization
• After-school care coordination
• Tutor and nanny group management
• Calendar integration and reminders

The Service operates through WhatsApp using the official WhatsApp Business API. Together School communicates with you via Direct Messages (DMs) only - we do not join or access WhatsApp groups. Each user signs up individually and communicates 1-on-1 with the bot. All communication and data processing is described in our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use Together School. Parents/guardians are responsible for the use of the Service by their children.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Use the Service lawfully and respectfully
• Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations
• Use the Service responsibly and only share information you have permission to share
• Respect the privacy of other parents and children in your school community
• Use emergency coordination features (e.g., pickup SOS) responsibly and only for genuine needs

Payment Terms

Subscription Tiers: Together School offers Individual plans (£3/month or £30/year), Family plans (£5/month or £50/year), and School licenses (£150/month or £1,500/year). Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly billing.

Free Trial: New users receive a 60-day free trial with all features unlocked. No credit card is required to start the trial. You can extend your trial by inviting friends (+15 days per friend, max +30 days) or if your class reaches 10 parents (everyone gets +30 days). If you do not subscribe after your trial ends, access will be suspended.

Early Adopter Pricing: Users who subscribe during our beta period can lock in £2/month (or £20/year) for life. This is a limited-time offer for founding parents.

Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically. Monthly subscriptions renew each month on the same day. Annual subscriptions renew each year on the anniversary date. Annual subscriptions include a 10% loyalty discount on renewal.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months or years, except as provided in our 30-day money-back guarantee.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, we'll refund your payment.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for a minimum of 6 months. Early adopter pricing is locked for life.

Gmail Email Monitoring (Optional Feature)

Optional Service: Gmail email monitoring is an optional feature. You choose whether to connect your Gmail account to Together School.

OAuth Authorization: When you connect Gmail, you authorize Together School to access your Gmail inbox using Google's OAuth 2.0 with read-only permissions (gmail.readonly scope). We cannot send, delete, or modify your emails.

Domain Filtering: You specify which email domains to monitor (e.g., your child's school domain). Only emails from these domains are processed. You can add or remove domains at any time.

Data Usage: Email data is processed to generate AI summaries of school communications (events, deadlines, payments, forms). Summaries are delivered via WhatsApp if connected. Email metadata and summaries are stored; full email content is not stored.

Disconnection: You can disconnect Gmail access at any time from your dashboard. This immediately revokes Together School's access to your Gmail. You can also revoke access directly through your Google Account permissions page.

Google Terms: Your use of Gmail is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Together School's use of Gmail data complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No Affiliation: Together School is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.

WhatsApp-Specific Terms

Direct Messaging Only: Together School communicates with you exclusively via WhatsApp Direct Messages (DMs). We do not join, access, or read WhatsApp groups. All communication is 1-on-1 between you and the Together School bot.

Individual Signup: Each user must sign up individually to Together School. You cannot add the bot to a WhatsApp group - instead, you sign up via our website or by messaging the bot directly, and all communication happens through private DMs.

Message Processing: When you send messages to Together School via WhatsApp DM, we process these messages to provide our services as described in our Privacy Policy. We never access or process messages from WhatsApp groups.

Stopping Messages: You can stop receiving messages from Together School at any time by blocking the Together School WhatsApp number or disconnecting your account from your dashboard.

WhatsApp Terms: Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's Terms of Service. Together School is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.

Content Ownership & Rights

• You retain ownership of content you submit
• You grant us a licence to use your content to provide and improve the Service
• Do not submit content you do not have rights to

Community Guidelines

• No abusive, harmful, or illegal content or conduct
• Respect the privacy and safety of others
• Follow safeguarding and child protection best practices
• Report any concerns to us promptly

Service Availability

Uptime: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control (including WhatsApp service outages).

WhatsApp Dependency: Together School depends on WhatsApp's Business API. If WhatsApp experiences downtime or changes their API, our Service may be affected. We are not liable for issues caused by WhatsApp or Meta.

No Emergency Service: Together School is a coordination tool, not an emergency service. Do not rely on it for time-critical emergencies. Always have backup plans for child pickups and care.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that the Service will meet your needs, or that coordination requests (e.g., emergency pickups) will be fulfilled by other users.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Together School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
